New York High School Basketball - Vernon-Verona-Sherrill overwhelmed by Central Valley Academy

The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils basketball team (Verona, NY), was routed 71-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY)

The Thunder now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oneida for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer battle on Friday, February 2. Central Valley Academy will battle a Express team coming off a 81-67 league loss to Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY). The Express record now stands at 6-9.

The Red Devils (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame (Utica, NY). The Jugglers go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial outing with a 0-6 record.

Central Valley Academy

Congratulations to #15 Deacon Judd for being selected the Central Valley Academy Basketball Player of the Game.
