The Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) basketball crushed the host Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), 55-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trojans (10-7) will now prepare for their test against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The go into the Upper Iowa test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, North Fayette Valley walloped Waukon (Waukon, IA), 74-67, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Starmont for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Central will encounter a Stars squad coming off a 42-27 league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Stars record now stands at 3-15.
