In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Central Tigers basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Vian Wolverines.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) in a Big Eight match, on Friday, February 2. Central will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 14-3 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Spiro (Spiro, OK).
With the defeat, Vian moves to 7-12 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Oktaha (Oktaha, OK) to meet the Tigers in a Big Eight match on Thursday, February 1. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 12-6. Oktaha lost 66-63 in their recent non-league match against Okemah (Okemah, OK)
