The Chargers now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Chariton will confront a Falcons team coming off a 72-32 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-8.

The Mustangs (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, New London was overwhelmed by Notre Dame (Burlington, IA), 73-38, in a league battle.
