The Panthers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calumet for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Chassell will battle a Copper Kings team coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI). The Copper Kings record now stands at 7-6.

The Nimrods (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Panthers come into the Copper Mountain - Porcupine battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Ewen-Trout Creek prevailed over Stephenson (Stephenson, MI), 51-40, in a non-league battle.
