In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Chattanooga Central Pounders (Harrison, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN), by a margin of 60-49.
The Pounders (13-11) will now prepare for their outing against McMinn County (Athens, TN). The Cherokees go into the non-league outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, McMinn County was beaten by Cleveland (Cleveland, TN), 66-65, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 2-20 record. They play next when they host Berean Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Hixson will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 12-1.
