Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ), 58-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lenape upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Eastern (Voorhees, NJ) to play the Vikings in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 1. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 20-2. Eastern won 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Rancocas Valley Red Devils (Mt. Holly, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Cherry Hill East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Cherokee (Marlton, NJ).
