Arizona High School Basketball - Cholla crushes Ironwood Ridge

Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 76-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cholla upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Mountain View (Tucson, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a 5A Southern bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a record of 17-6. Mountain View lost 73-61 in their recent league bout against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Nighthawks play the Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Southern bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 73-61 league win over Mountain View (Tucson, AZ).
