Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) and the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), saw Cienega's basketball squad wallop Desert View by a tally of 76-36.

With the victory, Cienega improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to confront the Apaches in a 5A Sonoran challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Nogales lost 60-50 in their recent league challenge against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Santa Rita Eagles (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Desert View will attempt to improve on its 1-22 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 86-60 non-league win over Catalina (Tucson, AZ).
