Iowa High School Basketball - Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS knocked off by Humboldt

The Humboldt Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS to 53 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster City for a North Central contest on Friday, February 2. Humboldt will meet a Lynx team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 5-9.
The (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Hampton-Dumont/CAL ran past South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 57-43, in a league contest.
