Nebraska High School Basketball - Clarkson/Leigh tops Wisner-Pilger

Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE), 60-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Clarkson/Leigh upgrades its record to 1-15 on the campaign. The Patriots host Pierce (Pierce, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Pierce lost 55-39 in their recent non-league bout against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE)

Next up, the Gators play the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Wisner-Pilger will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 50-39 non-league win over Stanton (Stanton, NE).
