The Claxton Tigers basketball team (Claxton, GA), was toppled 65-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jenkins County for a A D2 Region 3 battle on Friday, February 2. Emanuel County Institute will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 69-47 league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 14-5.

The Tigers (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Bulloch Academy was toppled by Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 67-34, in a league battle.
