Florida High School Basketball - Glades Day overwhelmed by Clewiston

The Clewiston Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Glades Day Gators to 36 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaBelle for a 4A District 12 contest on Thursday, February 1. Clewiston will battle a Cowboys/Cowgirls team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 9-14.

The Gators (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian Academy (Lake Worth, FL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian Academy was routed by Grandview Prep (Boca Raton, FL), 88-81, in a league contest.
