Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Maplewood overwhelmed by Cochranton

The Maplewood Tigers basketball team (Guys Mills, PA), was overwhelmed 58-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA)

The Cardinals now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranberry Area for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 31. Cochranton will battle a Berries team coming off a 72-66 league loss to Union (Rimersburg, PA). The Berries record now stands at 10-7.

The Tigers (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA). The Devils come into the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Cambridge Springs trounced Youngsville (Youngsville, PA), 74-59, in a league battle.
