Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) and the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), saw Coosa's basketball squad wallop Dalton Academy by a tally of 79-42.

With the victory, Coosa improves its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to confront the Dragons in a A D1 Region 7 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-13.

Next up, the Pumas confront the Berean Academy Eagles (Hixson, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Dalton Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
