Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting Corpus Christi United Watchmen (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Varsity Opponent's basketball squad hold off Corpus Christi United by a tally of 75-70.
With the victory, Varsity Opponent improves its record to 333-1221 on the campaign. The host Christian Academy of Madison (Madison, IN) to confront the Defenders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Defenders come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Christian Academy of Madison lost 62-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Laurel (West Harrison, IN)
