Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Crestwood overwhelmed by Hazleton Area

The Hazleton Area Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Crestwood Comets to 46 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilkes-Barre for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Friday, February 2.

The Comets (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bulldogs come into the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Berwick triumphed over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA), 58-57, in a league contest.
