Texas High School Basketball - Crockett fells Shepherd

Crockett Bulldogs (Crockett, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), 48-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Crockett upgrades its record to 24-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Onalaska (Onalaska, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-17. Onalaska lost 68-52 in their recent league bout against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Friday, February 2. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 17-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-18 record after their 80-54 league loss to Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX).
