Arkansas High School Basketball - Cross County topped by Marmaduke

The Marmaduke Greyhounds basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Cross County Thunderbirds to 53 in the Greyhounds league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 18-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Poinsett County for a 2A Region 3 contest on Friday, February 2. Marmaduke will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-51 league win over Rector (Rector, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 13-10.
The Thunderbirds (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region 3 contest with a 19-10 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Island Central prevailed over Rector (Rector, AR), 68-52, in a league contest.
