Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 66-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Culver City upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Centaurs host Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to play the Vikings in a Bay bout on Thursday, February 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Santa Monica won 50-45 in their recent league bout against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA)

Next up, the Sea Kings play the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) in a Bay bout, on Thursday, February 1. Palos Verdes will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 89-30 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA).
