Massachusetts High School Basketball - Swampscott fells Danvers

Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), 70-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Swampscott upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Big Blue host Beverly (Beverly, MA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Beverly won 67-40 in their recent league bout against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Danvers will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Magicians go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 73-54 non-league win over Salem Academy Charter (Salem, MA).
