In Tuesday's non-league outing, the David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA), by a count of 67-58.
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars go into the GIAA A Region 4 outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, Thomas Jefferson Academy defeated Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA), 85-57, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian Academy for a GIAA A Region 3 outing on Friday, February 2. Fullington Academy will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-11.
