The De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS), 72-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Vikings go into the United Kansas test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Seaman was trounced by Piper (Kansas City, KS), 76-64, in a non-league test.
The Golden Bears now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to West for a United Kansas test on Friday, February 2. Turner will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 79-54 non-league loss to Piper (Kansas City, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 9-5.
