Alaska High School Basketball - West Anchorage can't hold off Dimond

The Dimond Lynx basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host West Anchorage Eagles to 63 in the Lynx league victory on Tuesday.

The Lynx now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colony for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Dimond will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-36 league win over Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolves come into the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Eagle River was nudged by South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 62-44, in a league contest.
