The Jefferson Orange Wave basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Eagle Academy II Eagle to 70 in the Orange Wave league triumph on Tuesday.
The Orange Wave now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooklyn Collegiate for a PSAL AAAA Brooklyn/Staten Island I contest on Thursday, February 1. Jefferson will meet a team coming off a 73-57 league win over Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY). The record now stands at 11-9.
The Eagle (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Boys & Girls (Brooklyn, NY). The Kangaroos enter the PSAL AAAA Brooklyn/Staten Island I contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Boys & Girls nudged Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, NY), 68-66, in a league contest.
