Georgia High School Basketball - Locust Grove overwhelmed by Eagle's Landing

The Eagle's Landing Eagles basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Locust Grove Wildcats to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Grove for a AAAAA Region 2 contest on Friday, February 2. Eagle's Landing will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 73-60 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-9.
The Wildcats (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons come into the AAAAA Region 2 contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Warner Robins triumphed over Northside (Warner Robins, GA), 83-75, in a non-league contest.
