Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE) to play the Indians in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-11.

Next up, the Hornets play the Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 75-26 non-league win over Freire Charter School Wilmington (Wilmington, DE).
