Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) and the visiting East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC), saw Kinston's basketball squad wallop East Duplin by a tally of 66-26.

With the victory, Kinston improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to confront the Stallions in a 2A East Central challenge on Friday, February 2. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Southwest Onslow won 91-54 in their recent league challenge against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. East Duplin will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 73-64 league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC).
