In Tuesday's league outing, the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Fellowship Christian Paladins (Roswell, GA), by a count of 73-64.

The Eagles (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Panthers go into the AA Region 8 outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Union County defeated Banks County (Homer, GA), 84-67, in a league outing.

The Paladins now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Providence Christian Academy for a AA Region 8 outing on Friday, February 2. Fellowship Christian will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 61-53 league win over Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Storm record now stands at 13-9.
