The Twin Springs Titans basketball team (Nickelsville, VA), was nudged 37-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA)

The Spartans now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.I. Burton for a Cumberland battle on Friday, February 2. Eastside will confront a Black Raiders team coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Holston (Damascus, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 3-13.

The Titans (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers come into the Cumberland battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Thomas Walker was nudged by Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 75-60, in a league battle.
