The Epiphany Falcons basketball team (New Bern, NC), was overwhelmed 78-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC)

The Chargers now possess a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenfield for a NCISAA Coastal Plain battle on Friday, February 2. Wayne Country Day will confront a Knights team coming off a 81-55 league win over Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 23-6.

The Falcons (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, Arendell Parrott Academy was overwhelmed by Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC), 65-39, in a league battle.
