The Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL), 52-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams go into the Three Rivers - West test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Riverdale got by Orion (Orion, IL), 76-64, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Monmouth-Roseville for a Three Rivers - West test on Friday, February 2. Morrison will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 42-37 league loss to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Titans record now stands at 13-12.
