Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rising Star Wildcats (Rising Star, TX), 46-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Eula upgrades its record to 24-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Moran (Moran, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A Region II District 13 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-14.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Baird Bears (Baird, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 bout, on Friday, February 2. Rising Star will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
