Fairfield Union Falcons (Lancaster, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH), 55-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fairfield Union upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Bishop Watterson lost 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the Circleville Tigers (Circleville, OH) in a Mid-State - Buckeye bout, on Saturday, February 3. Teays Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 78-68 league loss to Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH).
