The Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR), 39-32 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mountaineers (11-9) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Buckaroos go into the 1A Casco test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, St. Paul got by Livingstone Adventist Academy (Salem, OR), 68-28, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Lewis Academy for a 1A Casco test on Friday, February 2. Willamette Valley Christian will encounter a Watchmen squad coming off a 63-46 league win over Oregon School for the Deaf (Salem, OR). The Watchmen record now stands at 9-11.
