In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) basketball squad edged the host Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN), by a margin of 86-79.

The Sabers (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Lakeville North held off Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN), 83-48, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeville South for a AAAA Section 1 outing on Friday, February 2. Farmington will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 70-69 non-league win over Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-6.
