Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower can't hold off Fort Bend Elkins

The Fort Bend Elkins Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes to 51 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Friday, February 2. Fort Bend Elkins will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-45 league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 14-16.

The Hurricanes (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Rangers enter the 6A Region III District 20 contest with a 26-0 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Clements nudged Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 66-36, in a league contest.
