Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Kempner nips Foster

Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Foster Falcons (Richmond, TX), 56-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Kempner upgrades its record to 21-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX) to play the Chargers in a 5A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, February 2. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 17-12. Fulshear won 58-52 in their recent league bout against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Falcons play the Terry Rangers (Rosenberg, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, February 2. Foster will attempt to upgrade on its 8-18 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 9-22 record after their 80-26 league loss to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX).
