The William Byrd Terriers tipped the visiting Franklin County Eagles basketball team by a final score of 60-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Terriers (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles go into the Blue Ridge test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Staunton River was tipped by William Campbell (Naruna, VA), 54-48, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Franklin County will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 51-43 league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Comets record now stands at 7-12.
