The Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Tioga Indians to 32 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 20-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant for a 4A District 2 match on Friday, February 2. Franklin Parish will meet a Cougars team coming off a 68-43 league loss to Neville (Monroe, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-19.

With the defeat, Tioga moves to 17-13 on the year. The Indians host Rapides (Lecompte, LA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, February 1. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 17-10. Rapides lost 51-28 in their recent league match against Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA)
