Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Oil City knocked off by Franklin

The Franklin Knights basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Oil City Oilers to 40 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a District 10 Region 5 contest on Friday, February 2. Franklin will meet a Dragons team coming off a 79-62 league win over Corry (Corry, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 13-3.

The Oilers (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Titusville was outscored by Corry (Corry, PA), 73-45, in a league contest.
