The Fruitland Grizzlies basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Payette Pirates to 25 in the Grizzlies league victory on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parma for a 3A Snake River Valley contest on Friday, February 2. Fruitland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-57 league loss to Homedale (Homedale, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 6-12.
The Pirates (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID). The Vandals come into the contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, McCall-Donnelly triumphed over Weiser (Weiser, ID), 80-52, in a league contest.
