Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 52-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Glenbard North upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lake Park (Roselle, IL) to play the Lancers in a DuKane bout on Friday, February 2. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 22-3. Lake Park won 51-45 in their recent league bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Friday, February 2. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 54-51 league win over Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL).
