The White County Warriors basketball team (Cleveland, GA), was overwhelmed 87-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA)

The Bobcats now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wesleyan for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 2. Gilmer will confront a Wolves team coming off a 64-51 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 9-13.

The Warriors (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Pickens trounced Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 70-50, in a league battle.
