GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the win, GlenOak upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Jackson (Massillon, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a Federal bout on Friday, February 2. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Jackson won 96-42 in their recent non-league bout against East (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) in a Federal bout, on Friday, February 2. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 53-42 league loss to Green (Uniontown, OH).
