Virginia High School Basketball - Radford nips Glenvar

Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their basketball team nudge the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 48-46 in a league game.
In their next game, the Bobcats face the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers game, on Thursday, February 1. Radford will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 5-15 record after their 70-33 league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
With the defeat, Glenvar moves to 6-10 on the year. The Highlanders host Alleghany (Covington, VA) to face the Cougars in a Three Rivers game on Wednesday, January 31. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 14-4. Alleghany won 65-34 in their recent league game against Patrick County (Stuart, VA)
