With the win, Goreville upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Blackcats travel to Christopher (Christopher, IL) to clash with the Bearcats in a Black Diamond - West bout on Friday, February 2. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 12-12. Christopher lost 57-47 in their recent league bout against Trico (Campbell Hill, IL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Vienna Eagles (Vienna, IL) in a Black Diamond - West bout, on Friday, February 2. Johnston City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 20-6 record after their 85-64 league win over Sesser-Valier (Sesser, IL).
