The Haralson County Rebels basketball team (Tallapoosa, GA), was overwhelmed 74-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA)
The Indians now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fannin County for a AA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 2. Murray County will battle a Rebels team coming off a 68-62 league loss to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-10.
The Rebels (5-17) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 13-11 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion was overwhelmed by Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 82-61, in a league battle.
