In Tuesday's league outing, the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) basketball squad nipped the visiting Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY), by a margin of 67-62.
The Cardinals (7-15) will now prepare for their outing against Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Broncos go into the District 42 outing with a 14-7 record. In their last outing, Frederick Douglass got by Sayre (Lexington, KY), 78-50, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Woodford County for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Henry Clay will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 16-4.
