The Highland Huskies basketball team (Riverside, IA), was routed 61-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA)
The Chiefs now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Madison for a Southeast battle on Wednesday, January 31. Keokuk will battle a Bloodhounds team coming off a 64-54 non-league loss to West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 7-7.
The Huskies (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Wildcats come into the SEI - North battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Columbus was routed by West Liberty (West Liberty, IA), 63-19, in a non-league battle.
